Vindication - Kara Peterson looks fresh, if a little pale, as she rolled across the finish line to claim victory in the 39-mile ultra-marathon. She finished the race in 2:03:26.03, more than five minutes ahead of second-place woman Rebecca George (2:08:51.01). Her pace was 19.1 mph, which equaled the pace for the winner of the 26-mile marathon, Cale Carvell, 58.
