The 40-year-old computer programmer from Minneapolis won the marathon with a time of 1 hour, 18 minutes and 42 seconds. His time was nearly five minutes faster than last year's winner (Dennis Humphrey). But it was 22 seconds slower than Louis Beoudoin's winning time in 2005. Beoudoin, however, had two advantages: the Hyper Racing Team was hot on his trail and the pavement was smoother at the end of the racecourse. Race Story: Anderson, Patino win in Napa | ||||||||
