Returning Champ - Jessica Smith sits on the infield during a break in the Team USA practice session Thursday. The 22-year-old from Melvindale, Mich., is making her tenth appearance at the World Championships this year. From 1996 to 2004 (she skipped the 2005 championships) she won 12 senior and 13 junior gold medals.
