Blades du Soleil
 Inline skating shares the spotlight in Cirque du Soleil's new Beatles-inspired show, Love. "The rollerblading virtuosity displayed during 'Help' is an eye-popping knockout," coos the critic for the Toronto Star. But you don't have to leave home to see rollerblading in the spotlight this summer. Guess who's skating in Steve Martin's "The Pink Panther," recently released on DVD?

Reno May Relax Skate Ban
City councilors in Reno, Nev., are considering loosening up their ban on skating downtown. They are scheduled to vote today on a proposal that would allow skating in the downtown business district along the Truckee River.

The Send the Best Social has been pushed back two days and moved into an evening, rather than afternoon, time slot. The new date for the fundraiser is Wednesday, July 19th.

Buisson Sets Solo Marathon Record
 Canadian Meaghan Buisson set a new world record today in the solo marathon. Her time of 1 hour, 18 minutes and 15.73 seconds chopped ten minutes off the old mark.
