Is cold winter weather Blue Water Sports Domekeeping you off your skates? ... If you live in the Detroit area, head to the Blue Water Entertainment and Sports Dome in Fort Gratiot.

As part of its grand reopening, Blue Water (formerly the Birchwood Sports Dome) is offering three free indoor skate sessions a week.

Blue Water is an inflated dome stuffed with all kinds of things, including a rock climbing wall, a driving range and a plastic-surfaced roller rink, which measures 170 feet by 110 feet.

Tomorrow is the dome's grand reopening.

The free skate sessions will be 1-3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and 6-9 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The dome is at 2851 Keewahdin Road behind the Birchwood shopping mall.
