Fighting to the Line - Salt Creek's Chris Adams sucks in the pain as he sprints the final yards of Sunday's Long Beach Marathon. The 39-year-old from Modesto, Calif., won the pro master's division with a time of 1 hour, 18 minutes and 43 seconds. But controversy clouded his victory. Reports surfaced Monday that the official motorcycle led the first group of pro masters to the wrong finish line, where their times and placements were not recorded. The skaters in the wayward pack were Dennis Humphrey, Grant Foster, Scott Swaney and Andy Zak.
