“Aggressive Skating” Definition: The style of inline skating in which skaters perform jumps, spins and other stunts. A popular stunt is called grinding, in which skaters slide down railings or along curbs on the grind plates between their second and third wheels. This is the kind of inline skating kids do in skate parks.
Also Known As: vert skating, although this refers specifically to performing jumps and aerial gymnastics on ramps and other structures, such as quarter- and half-pipes. | |||||
