Am-Wing, Adams Inline Announce New Wheels
Tarmac T2: designed for U.S. market

Am-Wing Technosport and Adam's Inline are formally announcing a new wheel aimed at the U.S. market, the Tarmac T2.

The wheel is designed for skating on asphalt, the most common outdoor surface in North America, and it is built to carry the weight of larger skaters.

Am-Wing uses its softest compound (SP+) in the construction of the wheel. This provides for excellent grip on asphalt, said Adam Bradley, owner of Adams Inline, which will sell the wheel.

The wheels are made with a wide profile (24mm for the 90mm and 100mm models) to prevent over-flexing.

Here is announcement from Adams Inline:

"Am-Wing with Adams Inline announce their new specialty wheel for the US market, Tarmac T2. This hot combination of ideal compounds and wider wheel profile produce a wheel perfect for the tarmac (asphalt) and for heavier U.S. skaters. Am-Wing has build a very fast wheel. By mixing wider profile and maximum grip, this wheel is perfect for skaters 150-210 lb., and has the best durometer for asphalt, which is what most roads and trails are made of. By enhancing the durometer/profile combination to match the larger US skater, we add speed to an already fast wheel."

Tarmac T2 is currently available in three configurations:

  • 90mm (24mm profile) $10
  • 100mm (24mm profile) $11
  • 110 (22mm profile) $12

A 110mm with a 24mm profile is expected to be released in January
