After a few years of small declines in registration, the Northshore Inline Marathon experienced a slight increase in 2007. Rick Abrahamson, chairman of the Northshore board, said 3710 skaters registered for last weekend's event. He described the number as "a welcome increase from the past few years of slight losses in registration." Last year, 3682 skaters registered for the event in Duluth, MN. The year before (2005), 3530 signed up. The Northshore is the largest inline skating event in North America. ...
