Miss Skate Babe Crowned in Singapore
Contest was part of Women on Skates event

Ace Tay, a 21-year-old business student, was crowned Miss Skate Babe at the closing party of the inaugural Women on Skates event in Singapore.

The event Monday included "skate-robics," a skate bazaar, treasure hunt and a 20K mass skate.

The informal beauty contest was part of an evening skate party at the DXO nightclub.

Tay told the Electric Newspaper that she skated to attain "the poise, confidence — and the figure, to win."

The Women on Skates event was sponsored by the Singapore Sports Council and inline retailer Skateline.
