Minnesota event morphs into full marathon

The Online Inline Half Marathon is getting a makeover for 2007.

The 5-year-old event in Baxter, MN., will offer a full and half marathon in 2007.

Along with the new distance will be a new name: the Baxter Inline Marathon.

The event is scheduled for June 9th. It will be the first of six full marathons scheduled next summer within 300 miles of inline hotbed Minneapolis.

The others are:

• Big Granite - June 16
• Badger State Games - June 24
• Hayward Inline Marathon - Aug. 11
• Saint Paul Inline Marathon - Aug. 19
• Northshore Inline Marathon - Sept. 16

The Online Inline drew 170 skaters this year.
