Racing News: Mantia, Rice Win Texas Roundup Joey Mantia and Debbie Rice won the pro divisions of today's Texas Roundup criterium in downtown Waco. Mantia, 20, of Ocala, FL, dominated all three races in the pro division to roll to an easy victory in the men's division. Mantia is the current all-around world speed skating champion and a member of Luigino Racing. Rice, a veteran skater and former Texan, who now lives in Denham Springs, LA, came from behind to win the women's division, overcoming a much younger field. World Team member Erin DiJulio, 20, edged Rice out in the first two races: the 500 and 1500 meters. But Rice, 38, came back in the final event (the 10K points race) and collected all but two of the available points. The criterium circled a city block near Waco's Downtown Hilton. The 10K was 20 laps. The indoor portion of the event was held Saturday at the Skate Country roller rink, home of the Inside Edge racing team, coached by Gypsy Tidwell. Women:
