Down to the Wire - The women's race came down to the final sprint after the chase pack caught Adams Inline's Kara Peterson (second from left in red, white and black). Rebecca George got around Marcy Turek (right in black) to beat Peterson by five-hundredths of a second. Turek finished third; Tracy Yde (left) finished fourth. Skating in only her third marathon, George finished with a time of 1 hour, 23 minutes and 10.83 seconds.
